Prior to the matching process, SmartMove appends standardized address fields, ZIP+4®, delivery point, and carrier route coding through CASS Certified™ software. This ensures the most accurate matching against the NCOALink and LACSLink data bases.
Starting on August 1, 2007, the USPS will require the use of DPV™ to confirm that primary number information in each address is accurate in order to be assigned the proper ZIP + 4 code from the USPS ZIP + 4 directory. Addresses that do not have a DPV confirmed primary number will not be assigned a ZIP + 4 and therefore will not be eligible for postal automation discounts. Smartmove can help you to meet this requirement and realize the savings on postage that it will provide.
