SmartMove, MBS’ Change of Address processing offering is designed to perform sophisticated Change of Address processing on your mailing files. MBS is a non-exclusive licensee of the United States Postal Service® (USPS®) to provide full service NCOA^Link™  processing. Using the USPS National Change of Address file safeguards the health of your database and reduces postage costs by increasing the deliverability of your mailing files.

It is important to note that not all NCOA^Link  Service Providers provide the same level of service. As a Full Service Provider, MBS receives a full 48-months’ worth of Change of Address data, while Limited Service Providers receive only an 18-month data set. All change of address updates are provided to MBS on a weekly basis under direct license from the USPS. In addition, on a daily basis, MBS receives corrections to the database, which are applied immediately to our system to ensure that our clients have access to the most accurate and updated NCOA^Link  data available anywhere.
